Recovery without secret logs

Start with the visible state.

Product support

AnanasCast is designed to tell you which boundary failed: discovery, pairing, source, media, or receiver foreground. Recovery should not require sharing screen contents or cryptographic details.

01

QUICK RECOVERY

One specific action at a time.

01

Receiver not found

Open AnanasCast Receiver on Apple TV and keep it in the foreground. Confirm both devices are on a local network that allows peer discovery, then use Find receiver again.

02

Pairing does not complete

Keep both screens visible. Confirm the same comparison value on both sides before it expires. If either screen disagrees, cancel and begin a fresh pairing attempt.

03

A selected window is not moving

Restore or update the selected window. If Windows has stopped providing frames—or the source closed—Stop and choose it again. AnanasCast never attempts to bypass protected content.

04

Apple TV left the receiver

Leaving the foreground closes the media route deliberately. Return to AnanasCast Receiver; Windows can make a bounded same-receiver reconnect without pairing a replacement.

05

System audio is silent

Confirm system audio was enabled before Start, the Windows playback device is active, and the session is not audio-muted. Stop before changing the media profile.

06

Stop or restart feels uncertain

Use Stop once and wait for the clear/Start-ready state. If the receiver is unavailable, reopen it and reconnect. Forget pairing only when you intend to remove trust.

Safe diagnostics

Useful evidence without exporting the session.
