Terms of service
The purchase should be as deliberate as Start.
Last updated · 19 September 2026These terms apply when AnanasCast makes checkout available and a customer completes a purchase. Until then, no product can be bought from this site.
01Who these terms are between
The software licence and product support agreement is between the customer and the supplier identified at the end of these terms. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle provides customer service for payment and billing enquiries and handles returns. The Supplier develops, licenses and supports AnanasCast.
02Availability and ordering
A catalog listing, roadmap item, price, screenshot or development demonstration is not an offer that can be accepted. A purchase exists only when checkout is enabled for that exact plan, Paddle accepts the order, and the verified transaction is completed. AnanasCast may limit markets where law, provider terms, sanctions, support or product readiness prevent sale.
03Licence, not ownership
A valid right grants a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the purchased AnanasCast plan on the allowed devices or receiver-bound room. The customer does not acquire source code, protocol rights, trademarks or ownership of the software. Personal licences may not be shared, resold, rented, sublicensed or used to operate a service bureau.
04Plan boundaries
Pro and Premium are the intended launch plans. The pricing page and checkout state the devices, features and limits included with each plan. The free tvOS receiver is a companion to the Windows product and contains no purchase prompt. A feature not listed as included at checkout is not part of the purchased plan.
05Subscriptions and one-time purchases
Monthly and annual plans renew at the cadence and amount disclosed by checkout until cancelled. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. A one-time plan does not renew: it permits permanent use of the purchased feature version and feature updates released during the first 12 calendar months. Necessary security or compatibility handling is separate from a promise of every future feature.
06Trial and access
The card-free trial does not create a subscription and does not charge automatically. Trial and paid access are verified by signed, installation-bound rights. Customers must not bypass device, concurrency, room, expiry, update or feature limits; interfere with pairing or trust checks; reverse engineer except where mandatory law expressly permits it; or use AnanasCast unlawfully or to infringe another person’s rights.
07Your content and local network
The customer chooses what to cast and is responsible for having permission to display or play that content. AnanasCast is not a tool to bypass protected-content restrictions. The supported media route is local between the customer’s Windows PC and installed receiver. Network quality, device capability, operating-system restrictions and third-party protected-content controls can affect availability or performance.
08Updates, support and changes
Supported versions, platforms and quality profiles are stated in the published requirements and version information. The Supplier may issue security, compatibility and feature updates and may retire unsupported versions with reasonable notice where practical. Material changes to paid terms apply prospectively and do not erase mandatory rights or the purchased rights of an existing one-time version.
09Suspension and termination
Future Starts may be denied when a subscription ends, a full refund or chargeback is approved, a licence is abused, or these terms are materially breached. AnanasCast is designed not to interrupt an active cast solely because a licence refresh, cancellation, expiry or refund occurs during that session. Termination does not limit rights or remedies that must survive by law.
10Consumer rights, governing law and disputes
Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes may be brought before the ordinary Norwegian courts, but this does not remove a consumer’s right to use a mandatory local forum, complaint body or protection available under applicable law. These terms do not reduce a buyer’s mandatory protections.
